Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming ILO-ICMPD Conference
"Action against trafficking and forced labour exploitation of migrant
workers in Europe" that will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, 29-30 June
2006. 

The purpose of this conference is to share information and good practice
among European source, transit and destination countries where
trafficking for forced labour may occur in a wide range of economic
sectors, such as construction, agriculture or domestic service.
Discussions will focus on prosecution of forced labour offences,
protection of victims of trafficking for forced labour exploitation as
well as regulation and monitoring of private employment agencies. 

You will find a conference programme, registration form and
administrative note attached. If you are interested in participating, we
would like to ask you to register before June 15, 2006. Please, feel
free to share this invitation with other members of your organisation.
We will share more background information with you prior to the
conference.
