Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) Regional Consultation Meeting (RCM), November 11-13, 2008, Cape Town, South Africa:  This year's Africa RCM is to strengthen linkages and facilitate networking between WGNRR members both in Africa and other regions. It will address regional reproductive and sexual health and rights (RSHR) issues and have a specific focus on this year's call for action "Women and Conflict". V. Funding Links / Scholarships / Research Opportunities

Consultancy Opportunity - Pacific Gender And Aid Effectiveness Case Study Report: The New Zealand Agency for International Development (NZAID) and the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) are jointly inviting the submission of proposals from consultants interested in developing Pacific case studies on gender equality and aid effectiveness, to produce a resource  which illustrates how attention to gender equality can improve aid effectiveness to deliver positive development outcomes, and which will inform future NZAID/AusAID practice. Consultants must have extensive gender and development experience. It is expected that the project will be implemented over a maximum of a four month time period, ideally commencing in June 2008. It is envisaged that short in-country visits will be required for development of the case studies. The deadline for submission of proposals is 12 noon Friday 30 May (NZ time). Fund for Global Human Rights / Request for Proposals: The Fund for Global Human Rights has issued a new Request for Proposals for human rights organizations based in Guatemala, Mexico, Philippines and Thailand.
