I. Request from SVRI Listserv Members

Request 1: Information on Strategies/Policies/Interventions in Emergencies: Merlin DR Congo is requesting assistance from SVRI listserv members to send through materials/resources (preferably examples from NGOs) on the following:

1. Organizational Sexual and Gender-Based Violence strategies for NGOs that have horizontal Sexual and Gender-Based Violence interventions (supporting the work of health centers to adequately address sexual violence as part of a larger organizational health care strategy). We are hoping that this will include strategies on engaging communities to combat Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
2. Organizational Sexual Exploitation and Abuse policies, particularly during emergencies.

Kindly email your responses to Brandi Walker at Sgbv.coordinator at merlin-congo.org. Your assistance is much appreciated.

Request 2: Brief Online Survey on Efforts to Engage Men in Violence Prevention: Researchers from the Universities of Minnesota and Michigan are conducting an online survey of efforts to engage men in violence prevention. They are interested in hearing from individuals and programs that engage men in violence prevention. Kindly complete a very brief online survey that will take under 10 minutes of your time. If you are interested in taking part in a follow-up survey or interview, you will be able to provide your contact information at the end of the survey.
