Study Finds Paramedics Face Abuse on the Job, The Standard, 1 January 2012 <http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3421381> : A new study found that more than two-thirds of paramedics surveyed have experienced verbal, physical or sexual abuse on the job. The majority - 67.4% - reported being verbally abused.

Mobile App to Help Indian Women Fight Sex Assault, Dawn.com, 21 December 2011 <http://www.dawn.com/2011/12/21/mobile-app-to-help-indian-women-fight-sex-assault.html> : A smartphone app launched Wednesday in the Indian capital Delhi aims to fight a rise in sexual assault cases by enabling women to immediately alert friends or family if they feel at risk.

Kathmandu Urchins: Street Boys Sexually Abused, Says Report, The Kathmandu Post, 5 May 2011 <http://www.ekantipur.com/the-kathmandu-post/2011/05/05/top-story/kathmandu--urchins-street-boys-sexually-abused-says-report/221351.html> : The report made public by Save the Children and Child Workers in Nepal Concerned Centre (CWIN) said 74.8 percent of the respondents—all boys living in the streets in the 10-18 age brackets—said they knew at least three of their friends who had had non-consensual sex.
