II. SVRI member requests

1) Survey request: Women's rights in the Arab League countries

Crina Boros is a journalist working for the London-based Thomson Reuters Foundation. Their latest project is a survey of experts who can shine a light on the most pressing issues facing women in the Middle East and North Africa. They have focused their analysis on the member countries of the Arab League and have drafted a questionnaire based on the principles embodied in the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). We hope to develop emerging themes and create an index with which to compare the situation in these countries.

Crina is looking for professionals with knowledge on the issue - journalists, activists, academics etc. that would take their poll. Crina would like to request your participation in this survey. Through the survey, you will be answering the questions about a single country of your choice. If you feel that you could also answer the same questions on a different country, it would be appreciated it if you could take the questionnaire again but for another country in the region. The questionnaire is available in the following languages:
English: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7JQSXXY
Arabic: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GQM3G8W
French: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GSKRJ6Y

2) Survey request: Addressing Inequalities Networked Alliance Consultation (AINA)

Two weeks ago a survey request was circulated online to assist The Inequalities Consultation in improving the Addressing Inequalities Online Consultation or "AINA". If you have filled out the survey, they would like to thank you. The entire survey takes less than three minutes to complete, and it will provide us with a blueprint of how to serve your needs and improve your ability to advocate for a Post-2015 agenda that effectively addresses inequalities. All survey replies will be treated confidentially. The entire survey takes less than three minutes to complete. Thank you very much for your participation in advance. This information will be very helpful to provide you with an improved site experience and giving you the site you need to advocate for the world you want! If you have any questions, please contact tcallender at unicef.org<mailto:tcallender at unicef.org>.
