I. SVRI Members Requests

1) NGO Survey Request for ICPD Beyond 2014 Process

NGOs/civil society organisations are invited to complete this survey in order to give input that can be taken into account in the UN Secretary General's report for the UN General Assembly. The survey is estimated to take 15-20 minutes. The undersigned NGOs/CSOs have engaged recently with UNFPA regarding the ICPD Beyond 2014 global survey (http://icpdbeyond2014.org/about/view/2-global-survey). This survey aimed to measure progress, gaps and outstanding issues in relation to the implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action (http://www.unfpa.org/public/home/publications/pid/1973) and was intended to be completed with the input of civil society at the national level.

Given that many civil society organizations had little or no opportunities to provide input into the process, UNFPA has agreed to collect responses via a separate survey, the results of which will be included into the ICPD Beyond 2014 final report. The survey can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TXMD5M2. Please answer on behalf of your organization and encourage others in your networks to respond. Please note the deadline for responding is 12 February 2013. It is hoped that your organization will engage in this process and encourage other organizations to do so as well.

2) Violence Against Women 365 International Posters Exhibition

For the purpose of drawing up a provisional schedule for displays of the exhibition during 2013 (limited availability left); 2014 and 2015, expressions of interest are now invited from any individuals, organisations or agencies involved in the multi-faceted area of violence against women and children to host the "Violence Against Women 365 International Posters Exhibition".

The Exhibition is an ideal visual resource for use as part of any public awareness and/or education campaigns on the issues involved but also can provide an excellent backdrop to any similarly themed Conference or similar type forum. For more information about the Exhibition and what is involved, please go to either http://www.dvposters365.net, visit us on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/109391782794, or simply email the Coordinator of the Exhibition at dvposters at gmail.com<mailto:dvposters at gmail.com>.
