Today's featured video: Today we feature a research project currently undertaken by Cambodian Defenders Project (CDP) on sexual violence committed against ethnic minorities under the Khmer Rouge regime. From 1975-1979, this ultra-communist group attempted to bring about a "socialist revolution". As a result, more than one million people perished. This study intends to shed light on a hidden dimension of the regime.

II. Request for proposals: Strengthening the evidence base for prevention of sexual and intimate partner (SIPV) violence in low and middle income countries

Through this call for proposals, the SVRI aims to support research or research related activities that will strengthen the evidence base for the prevention of sexual and intimate partner violence in low and middle income countries. Projects should be for a maximum of 12 months duration, and the grant is expected to cover all, or the majority of, the project costs. Awards will only be made to institutions and not to individuals. For more information, view the guideline information<http://www.svri.org/SVRI-Grant-Guidelines.docx> online.
