SVRI MEMBERS' REQUEST

Request for resources / approaches to measure prevalence and responses to sexual harassment in the workplace: Henriette Jansen, technical advisor on Violence Against Women, Research and Data for UNFPA Asia and the Pacific Regional Office in Bangkok, is seeking resources / approaches taken (in particular questionnaires) to measure prevalence and responses to sexual harassment in the workplace. This is to inform the design of research around workplace harassment especially in factories. Request for training curricula on VAC/HIV integration and identification tool on Violence Against Children (VAC) in clinical settings: LVCT Health has been contracted by 4Children to lead in the development of an integrated VAC and HIV training manual for health providers; and an identification tool to be used to screen children presenting for health services for experiences of violence. They are seeking the responses of those directly involved in VAC and/or Paediatric HIV and service delivery with a focus on the health sector. LVCT Health is keen to hear from the full range of partners - from community-based organizations to government, NGOs and interagency groups, as well as UN Agencies and is requesting for training curricula, participants manuals, IECs, teaching aids, and VAC identification tools. It is anticipated that the training manual and screening tool developed from this consultancy will be utilized in Sub-Saharan Africa.
